I cannot stand the sound of chewing, drinking,or swallowing. I have tried looking for a hair in my driver so many times, and completely scanned it for a hair and I have never found one to cause the problem. I have to take headphones with me when I go out in case I hear it. Just fought with my husband over his chewing and he left the house to run errands. He has a PC and is running Windows XP. He uses headphones for some stuff now, and it still annoys the piss out of me because of how loud he has them. The solution to your problem is social skill, not technical sabotage. My brain is rattling in my head because he listens to the most annoying techno music. They are not normally annoyed by sounds that they themselves make. If he started eating at all I’d have to put my headphones on and wait until he was finished eating before I’d leave for lunch.
