When I hear a sound, it sounds fine up to a certain point, when my left ear just seems to distort (the way a speaker with too much volume distorts) and everything gets really fuzzy and sounds like it’s buzzing. In March of this year I started getting ear infections once again. and to this day its still here. But in real world situations it bothers me. After analyzing the report then further management can be planned, whether insertion of a ventilating tube is required or not. After all, tinnitus is just another sound I can’t do anything about. I don’t understand; does this mean EHS has physical causes as opposed to psychological (or even psychosematic) causes? This is not backed up by the text. I don’t know about loud, but after hearing no other sounds for so long it can subjectively seem amazingly loud. I always experience this if I start going to sleep flat on my back with my face straight up; feels as though it starts as a low-volume mid-pitch buzzing/ringing at the base of my neck or mid-neck, rises in volume exponentially over 2 to 6 seconds and moves up to the rear base of my skull – all the way through below and behind my ears – then crescendos as loud as I can hear without being painful, plus a flash of light all through my head. I stopped taking Zoloft last week, no weaning off this time, after taking it for 4 years. (3) I NOTICE THE SYMPTOMS WITHOUT BEING THE SYMPTOMS. My tbi was 4 yrs ago i had a subdural hematoma and crainiotomy i still suffer with headaches tracers ringing ears poor balance short term terrible memory loss irrtability chronic fatigue ect. Or they get annoyed during the periods of time that I cannot function due to severe fatigue and confusion.
